We encourage employees to pursue further education and training, including MBA's, BSc's and other professional qualifications. Training requests are considered on their merits, however generally the company pays tuition fees for engineers wishing to develop their skills in this manner. We also operate a scheme in which the company pays tuition fees to staff attending evening classes for courses considered relevant to their business activities, for example in languages or information technology.
We recognise the importance of the softer skills in our leaders and managers and have developed a programme of modules to deliver training, coaching and mentoring in specific leadership and management skills. |
