The introduction of new legislation requiring both new developments and existing buildings to demonstrate energy efficiency in design, construction and operation will focus the minds of all parties involved in property onto the conservation of energy as a primary concern.
Our energy audits are based on assessing energy consumption over an extended period and using available data to establish an energy consumption profile for each utility. These profiles may be compared with industry-accepted benchmarks to establish if the premises are performing in line with properties of a similar type and complexity.
Once established, the energy use profile may also be used to compare the energy consumed in subsequent years and identify any anomalies in demand suggesting that an item of plant or system is operating outside of its normal parameters. |
